About the library’s media collection

The library has both hardware and software.

Software includes:

  • Large curriculum-based VHS and a growing DVD collection, that can be borrowed by faculty and staff.
  • Audio Books in the format of Playaways, CD’s and Cassettes.   
  • COMING IN MARCH - WE WILL HAVE ACCESS TO LISTEN UP! VERMONT, APPROX. 500 ON-LINE BOOKS!!!!
  • All collections are cataloged by the Dewey Decimal system.  Example: 900’s History & Geography. 

 Hardware includes:

  • LCD Projector in library used for educational presentations by the Librarian and Faculty. 
  • LCD Projector/Laptop media carts available for faculty and staff.
  • VHS, DVD Players, Cassette, CD Players/Recorders, Digital Voice Recorders (DVR), Camcorders/tripods, Digital Still Camera’s, one iPod and fifteen MP3 players.

Services include:

  • Recording of  Educational Programs for Faculty and Staff.
  • Burn DVD’s and make copies when appropriate.
  • Trouble shooting when equipment needs repair or hook-up.
  • Coordinate Auditorium Set-up with the Front Office. 
  • Advise and help Faculty and Staff with Media selection.
